What is Health on the Horizon?
Health on the Horizon: A Global Health and Wellness Event from TOPS is a bi-annual gathering that unites the public to spark dialogue, share solutions and inspire action toward a healthier tomorrow. Grounded in our mission to support and empower individuals on their health journeys, this event serves as a catalyst for lasting change.

Who is hosting the event?
Hosting Health on the Horizon is TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Club, Inc., the original nonprofit, noncommercial network of weight-loss support groups and wellness education organization. TOPS offers tools and programs for healthy living and weight management, with exceptional group fellowship and recognition. Established in 1948 to champion weight-loss support and success, we've helped millions of people live healthier lives. Learn more at tops.org.

When and where will the event take place?
The event will take place in Niagara Falls, NY from August 13-15, 2026 at the Niagara Falls Conference Center (101 Old Falls Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303).

Is there a preferred hotel or discounted room block?
Yes, we have arranged a preferred hotel and discounted room block for attendees. Visit our travel page to learn more. More information on registration packages can be found on our registration page. We offer two hotel options, both conveniently located close to the Niagara Falls Convention Center. For the shortest walk, the Sheraton is located across the street. There is no difference in which hotel you choose, so feel free to pick either one! If you prefer to stay somewhere else, you are welcome to do so! We offer these two options to make planning easier.

How often is this event held?
Health on the Horizon: A Global Health and Wellness Event from TOPS is held bi-annually. The first global health forum event by TOPS took place in 2024 and the event was rebranded with a new name for 2026.

Who can register?
Anyone interested in attending Health on the Horizon is welcome to register and attend the event! TOPS Club, Inc. membership is not required.

Can I register on-site?
No, you must register in advance so we can guarantee availability.

Will registration close at a certain date?
Registration will close prior to the event, but the exact date is still being finalized. We recommend registering early to guarantee availability.
Programming

What topics will be covered?
All topics related to health and wellness will be covered, including but not limited to nutrition, physical activity, mental health, preventive care and community wellness.

Will an itinerary be shared before the event?
Yes! We are hard at work arranging the itinerary and finalizing event details. We’ll be sure to share the full schedule with you once it’s ready.

Are there breakout discussions or workshops?
Yes, there will be breakout sessions and workshops designed to encourage meaningful discussion and collaboration. These smaller group settings will give participants the chance to explore topics in more depth, share ideas and connect with others who have similar interests.

Will there be opportunities to network with other attendees?
Yes! Whether you’re simply interested in health and wellness, or you’re a healthcare professional, there will be plenty of opportunities to connect and network with others throughout the program.

Are my donations or sponsorships tax-deductible?
TOPS Club, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donations made without promotional benefits are considered charitable gifts; sponsorships with marketing benefits may qualify as business expenses. Please consult your tax advisor for guidance.
